Connal is a proud born and bred Canberran, growing up in the South where he called the suburb of Oxley home.
He completed his schooling at St Mary MacKillop College and Erindale College. Rugby was always a big part of his life, starting with the Canberra Royals, a few seasons with the Tuggeranong Vikings, and then back to Royals again. That path gave Connal the opportunity to play professionally with the ACT Brumbies from 2018 to 2024 and during this tenure Connal was capped twice for the wallabies.
Connal’s journey through sport, study, and life in Canberra has shown him the true value of community – family, friends, and the connections that make this city feel like home. He is passionate about people, sport, and all the things that make Canberra such a wonderful place to live.
